1,5 Grad. Unsere Erdsysteme drohen in Folge der Klimaveränderung zu kippen. In diesem Performanceprojekt begeben wir uns an menschengemachte und an ursprüngliche Orte, gehen auf Tuchfühlung mit dem, was uns umgibt und dem, was wir sind.
1.5 degrees. Our earth systems are in danger of collapsing as a result of climate change. In this performance project, we visit man-made, original places and get up close and personal with what surrounds us and what we are. 

Werdet Teil eines Performancekunstwerks!!!

In jedem der teilnehmenden Länder wird eine Performancereihe inszeniert, an der bis zu 100 Menschen mitwirken können. Die Performances ermöglichen individuelles Erleben durch die Wechselwirkung von kognitiven und körperlichen Erfahrungen in einem festgelegten Rahmen. Jeder Teilnehmerin erhält einen weißen Ganzkörperanzug, einen Luftballon und eine choreografische Handlungsanweisung. Teil der Performance ist die Aufzeichnung und Präsentation des Prozesses mit dem Ergebnis eines Videokunstwerks.

Alle Performances sollen an speziellen Orten stattfinden, die nur in der Zielregion zu finden sind und im Vorfeld gemeinsam mit einheimischen Freiwilligen, Partnern und Institutionen gesucht werden. Die Auswahl erfolgt nach bestimmten Kriterien: Zum einen sind es „Lost Places“, die einst wirtschaftlich oder industriell genutzt wurden und gezeichnet von diesen Eingriffen gegenwärtig sich selbst überlassen sind. Zum anderen sind es idyllische Sehnsuchtsorte, an denen die Natur scheinbar unberührt ist.

Become part of a performance artwork!!!

In each of the participating countries, a performance series will be staged in which up to 100 people can take part. The performances enable individual experience through the interaction of cognitive and physical experiences within a defined framework.  Each participant receives a white full-body suit, a balloon and choreographic instructions. Part of the performance is the recording and presentation of the process resulting in a video artwork.

All performances are to take place at special locations that can only be found in the target region and are sought out in advance together with local volunteers, partners and institutions. The selection is based on certain criteria: On the one hand, there are "lost places" that were once used commercially or industrially and are currently left to their own devices, scarred by these interventions. On the other hand, they are idyllic places of longing where nature is seemingly untouched.
